Recommended approach: Use shared placement first, then add the smallest number of option overrides.

Keep one authoritative customer input

Rendered option text uses the existing custom text attached to the selected option. Aura does not ask customers for the same production value twice.

Use shared zones with deliberate overrides

A shared step zone gives every eligible option consistent placement. An exact option override takes precedence when a different product shape or print area requires it.

Constrain customer artwork

Accept supported raster formats, limit file size, and keep movement, scale, and rotation inside the merchant-defined production zone. The validated recipe remains authoritative even when a preview image is also generated.

Common questions

Does sample text entered in Render Studio become customer data?

No. Sample text is only an editing preview and is not saved as a customer response.
